About Us
Associated Lighting Representatives (ALR) opened for business in 1961 as a two-person agency representing several small lighting manufacturers. In the 60 years since, ALR has expanded its product offering to include lighting controls, has grown its territory to include Northern Nevada (2001), Central California (2014), and Oregon/Southern Washington (2023), represents some of the most prominent manufacturers in the world, and boasts over 140 employee-owners in its five offices.
The company was founded upon the simple premise of providing the best possible service to its customers while conducting its business activities with the utmost integrity. This philosophy has been with ALR throughout its years and remains the cornerstone of the company's culture today.
